'Basketball Wives' Brooke Bailey's Daughter Kayla tragically dies at age 25
'Basketball Wives' Brooke Bailey's Daughter Kayla has died aged 25.Lo
Brooke, 45, took to Instagram to share a number of snaps of her daughter, whilst sharing the tragic news of her death.
"Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey," Brooke wrote. "This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon."
The cause of Kayla's death has not yet been disclosed, although multiple publications claim it was a car accident.
People rushed to the comments section to send their condolences to Brooke over the death of her daughter.
One person wrote: "Brooke I am genuinely so sorry for your loss. I hope God covers your family with love and strength to get through this."
Another commented: "Brooke, I can’t imagine the pain you’re going through during this difficult time. I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your fam #LoveYall "
Someone else wrote: "Sending my deepest condolences to you and your family. So sorry for your loss."
Brooke also changed her Instagram bio to read: "FOREVER. Kayla Nicole Bailey 3/2/97-9/25/22 #PrettyBlack."
Apart from Kayla, Brooke has two other children, Shumecio, who was born in 1998 and her youngest child who was born in 2004.
Brooke took to her Instagram stories to share a number of photograph's of her three children, taken before her daughter's death.
She also reposted a number of stories from friends who had taken to Instagram to express their grief for her and her family over the death of her daughter.
One person had shared a picture of Kayla and wrote: "Brooke Bailey, my heart is aching for you.
"Praying hard and heavy for your strength!'
"So many of my mom's friends are losing their babies way too soon. What are these times we're in."
Part way through reposting, Brooke wrote: "Thank you for LOVING my baby girl. Thank You," before adding a broken heart emoji.
Brooke found fame in the E! reality series titled 'Candy Girls', a show about a bunch of friends living and working as music video models in LA.
She furthered her reality career when she joined the cast of Basketball Wives LA alongside Jackie Christie, Malaysia Pargo, and others in its second season.
Brooke was once married to a former professional basketball player named Ronnie Holland, but they are now divorced.
She confirmed the end of her marriage to Ronnie with a post on Instagram, in which she stated, "Wife sounds better than girlfriend, but single sounds better than stupid. Yes. I'm single."
