TikTok dance star Babyface.s dies aged 19 in shooting
TikTok dance star Matima Miller, better known as Sway and Babyface.s, has died aged 19.
The social media star has been reported as the victim of a shooting on Monday 5 July. He was identified by police in Wilmington, Delaware, who also launched an investigation into the horrific accident that took place at Elbert Place.
Miller was taken to hospital but died of his injuries shortly after.
The teen had amassed an incredible fan base on TikTok, boasting 2.5 million followers and a whopping 98million likes for his impressive dance moves.
Many of his fans have since paid tribute to him, including on of his closest friends, Damaury Mikula, who shared a YouTube video about him titled "Rest up Bro".
In the heartbreaking clip, he explained: "Rest up brother.
"I just want to tell you what happened and everything, you might not know. My homeboy named Swavy died…
"I’m not going to tell his real name on here… but yeah man… he got shot, and I just want to let you all know that I’m about to take over for that n****."
He continued: "All he did was make vids… he’s real as hell. Real, real.
"As soon as we seen each other bro, we was locked in straight like that… he keeps everything real. To see him get taken out, just like, it makes no sense.
"It makes no sense.”
He added: "I know you up there looking down."
Fans also flocked to comment on Miller's last TikTok post, which has amassed over 688,000 likes.
"omgg someone tell me there lying he was my favoritee," one person wrote.
Another said: "It can't be true no way bruh," with two broken heart emojis.
While a third added: "this world is so crazy , someone can really be gone so quick".
